WHO ARE WE?
ANEJAPS, the Representative Association of Young People in the Fields of Sport and Youth Work, is today the only representative association for the 100,000 young people working in sport and youth work.
Made up entirely of student volunteers, the federation brings together 65 member associations on its board of directors, which meets 8 times a year. Its extensive presence across the country and its participatory democracy model allow it to take positions on the various issues it addresses, while maintaining its political independence.
As such, it has become the key point of contact for institutional and social partners and for the entire sports movement, thanks to its expertise in youth, higher education, and sport.

REPRESENTATION
ANEJAPS’ missions are based on two main pillars, commonly referred to as its two legs. The first “leg” corresponds to the representation of young people in the fields of sport and youth work. Thanks to its strong presence across the country and within the FAGE network, ANEJAPS works to improve student life and guarantee equal opportunities for all young people throughout their academic and professional paths. To this end, it trains and informs its elected representatives and association leaders, enabling them to properly ensure the defense of the rights and the collective and individual, moral and material interests of students.

FAGE
The Fédération des associations générales étudiantes (General Federation of Student Associations) – FAGE – is France’s leading student organization. Founded in 1989, it operates on a participatory democracy model and brings together nearly 2,000 associations and unions, representing around 300,000 students. FAGE’s goal is to guarantee equal opportunities for success within the education system.
This is why it works to continuously improve the living and study conditions of young people, carrying out activities in the fields of representation, defense of rights and social innovation.
Independent of political parties, employee unions, and student mutual insurance providers, it bases its actions on an approach that is activist, humanist and pragmatic.
